About my wipermotor, it turns hot even if it4s off. It only happens when the engine is on, not only ignition. I4ve changed motor and the same thing happened again so the problem must be electrical. P

The windshield wiper motor can be wired so that it has a high, low and off and be wired incorrectly. The symptom is that the motor gets real hot with the wipers off! Correctly connecting the wires at

I agree with Jim. The wiper motor is another example of 'great' British wiring concepts. Make sure that you have wired everything according to the book. The way the wiper is wired, you must be caref

To be honest, Volkswagen had had the same arrangement for some years before Lucas adopted it. Perhaps this should be attributed to a British zest at adopting dumb ideas from elsewhere? Marc msmall@ro
