- The shifter reverse lock out bar is replaceable. There is a cable that runs through a hole in the cross bar and is connected to the pivoting arm in the bottom of the shift lever. The cable is brazed

- I just put a Hurst Competition Plus shifter in my Mark I. Call Jegs. They have them for around $275, I think. Ask them for the correct application over the phone. I actually got mine from Dan Willia
