- I think so. The cutoff is 1965, I'm pretty sure. Mine has always been registered as a 1965 with a build date of May(?) 1964. I tried unsuccessfully to get it changed to 1964 registration, I gave up

- You need to smog it when bringing it into the state but not after that if it is a '65 or earlier. I bought my Tiger is Arizona and had to smog it only the first time. The smog requirement sheet that
