Hi Kirt, Here are some things you must be concerned about when installing an alternator and 302. I'm sure others will have something to add or optional suggestions. Go with the one wire alternator. T

Kirt, John has good advise. I have a 90 Mustang 5.0L and did some thing I used a GM one wire alternator, and my red ignition still acts as a low charge indicator. Easy hook up, and Theo Smit helped m

but The Tuff Stuff alternator I wrote about, comes with a second orange wire sticking out. You connect this to the charging light and keep that functioning. Erich
