What part of it is failing? Possibly you should check to be sure that the belt alignment is exactly right, and that the tension isn't too high. If you do consistently drive your car at high engine RP

Thanks everyone for the helpful suggestions. I have a brand new wiring harness and a new voltage regulator. I had the first generator rebuilt as a bearing failed, I then adjusted the belt alignment.
