i guess if the car isn't moving or is moving slowly and the engine is running at 240, the engine bay is so hot that the intake charge is warmer and hence less dense than if the engine is at 180. ther

My Tiger with 260 has 50 psi cold, 45 psi hot at idle and stays there at all speeds. I believe I have read where the minimum oil pressure can be 10 psi at idle and then 5 psi added for every 1000 rp
