A little while back, some folks were looking for 5 bolt 289's. I made a note of some for sale at Portland. 5 bolt HiPo, correct 1965 no's, freshly rebuilt (not used), complete w/stock cast iron 4 bbl

I believe the 5 bolt 289 hipo motors are scarce. I'd think the 260 hipo's are even more scarce. Sent from my iPhone of some for sale at Portland. cast iron 4 bbl manifold, less carb & distributor. As

Same 2.87" stroke with a 3.50" bore. With the same stroke, they used the same crankshaft as the 260 and 289 and had the same deck height. They were all five-bolt blocks. The original heads are said
