I'm sure this is a popular question, but what's involved in converting an Alpine to Tiger spec? I know it'll never be a real Tiger, but a whole lot cheaper and I can do it how I want it and not worry

The idea is to build a street/AP autocrosser. I'd plan on putting a complete custom rear end under the car - 4 link or something. I'd like to do a tubular front end, but couldn't afford it. If I didn

I've already checked with the SCCA on this. If I run a Tiger crossmember, the car will run legally as a Tiger. If it has the Alpine crossmember, or anything other than stock (like something custom)
