They were the only 2 years w/high compression. Others were "smog" low compression heads. You can ID them easily by the cast-in parts numbers--C90E for the 1969, and D00E for the 1970, if memory serve

You'll need longer, hardened pushrods for the guideplates you'll have to install too. They are 6.905" long & I bought them thru the Ford Motorsports catalog years ago. Al J

Steve, I doubt very much that a stock Tiger could turn 93 in the quarter. They were real accelerating dogs w/that 288 rear and an optimistic 164hp rating. The 2bb carb didn't add to the fun, either.
