I got mine from CAT. It's stainless steel and fit find. There was rumor of fitting on the gauge end, but I had no problem. The trick is to connect the gauge end first. Dave Johnson

Sounds like the piece that goes under the seats. The U-shaped channels are for the seat rail. The piece covers the area under the seat and between the sat and rocker panel. Dave Johnson

I agree. Check the lower hose. Make sure the car is hot and then watch the lower hose as you goose the carb with your left hand. Been there done that. TigersUnited list the correct lower hose. Dave J

The stock gear was 15 teeth. Unfortunately they have not be available for years. Your Ford dealer should stock 16, 17, 18, and up. Each tooth drops the speed about 3 mph. Dave Johnson
