On the subject of wiring....I have a CAT wiring diagram and can't seem to locate the fuses in this diagram. Am I missing something here? (It's a MK1) Mark L.

I remember asking a machine shop if they would add a little thread to a 1/2" grade 8 bolt. They told me I was nuts and that they wouldn't touch it. Seems it will grind those dies to pieces. ML

On the cooling....sure we have a crowded engine bay, small radiator and fan and a V8, but this can't account for all of the troubles. Look at the modern cars! I mean so crowded that you can't see any

I also use a wing nut for the original air cleaner ....it's just so much more convenient...not needing a wrench to remove. But, I have the "original" hex nut carefully stored away in a safety deposit
