- Try looking at the inside of the cap itself. Check for carbon tracking. I had a TR-4 that lit me up similar to your experience. Rare occurrence but it does happen. DR. Moonstone

- Both schools hold true. More reliability in the Edelbrock while the Holley has more bits and pieces that can be used to extract every bit of extra performance. Go with what you know. Dr. Moonstone
