- I ran CAT headers, 2" exhaust, Flowmasters, H-pipe... It was way too loud, I lived with it for 4 years and changed to Dynomax muffler. Much more pleasant, but I occasionally miss the loud part. Heads

- Cliff, for my crate motor I used the Autometer mechanical meter and put the dash meter where the clock/emblem is. Its dead on accurate and much easier to read. The autometer comes with seveal thread

- Hi Tony, I did something similar but mounted the alternator to the driver's side head (better set back for more room). I used a March adjustment rod for the tensioner (not the bolt shown for fitting)

- I ran the 302 with 300+ hp and had no problems cooling. Just follow the tips on Tigers United, use a good water pump. I did not need a auxiliary fan and removed it. It restricts air when not in use.
