I ran CAT headers, 2" exhaust, Flowmasters, H-pipe... It was way too loud, I lived with it for 4 years and changed to Dynomax muffler. Much more pleasant, but I occasionally miss the loud part. Heads

While we are on gas caps, I have difficulty adding gas using the vapor recovery nozzles. First the vapor bellows must be compressed or no gas will come out. So I push the nozzle into the filler neck,

Cliff, for my crate motor I used the Autometer mechanical meter and put the dash meter where the clock/emblem is. Its dead on accurate and much easier to read. The autometer comes with seveal thread

You can leave the original guage in place and install an Autometer mechanical guage where the Rootes emblem is (unless you are blessed with an original clock). The Autometer is incredibly accurate. I

Hi Tony, I did something similar but mounted the alternator to the driver's side head (better set back for more room). I used a March adjustment rod for the tensioner (not the bolt shown for fitting)

I ran the 302 with 300+ hp and had no problems cooling. Just follow the tips on Tigers United, use a good water pump. I did not need a auxiliary fan and removed it. It restricts air when not in use.
