I applied RAIN-X once and since then it seemed like a lot of pitting showed up on the windshield. Is this possible from the RAIN-X or something else? Applied to a 90'Volvo windshield. Doug

Well if you don't apply it regularly, the windshield will look smeared until you reapply. I doubt seriously that it can cause pitting. It might make it sho up though. It really just puts a wax-like c
