The threaded end of the spridget steering rack is 1.75" long -- just measured one of my spare rack now. You didn't say which car (B, midget or Spit) you were doing. I can't help you on the others. M

I'm in the middle of a front end alignment.... with the tie rod ends still attached, I'm turning the rods to adjust the toe in. On one side I backed out the rod from the end quite a bit. To stop from

Paul For a close set up, screw each tie rod end on by 15 full turns. At least that will get you to within a 1/2 turn or so of correct toe in. This of course is assuming everything is in good shape wi

I just measured the threaded portion of a NOS rack: 1 7/8". Take into consideration the jam nut which measures approximately 15/32. WFO Herb Keep the sticky side down!
