I think the little bit of remaining trans oil would be diluted enough not to cause any problems. To get more of the old oil out, you could heat th tranny for a while with a heater. Ulix Ulix __/__,_

I always flush any old crud out with a qt or so of diesel fuel. Gas, kerosene, paint thinner, just about any of these will do. They all mix with oil. Drain the oil, pour in a qt of diesel fuel, start

I cleaned my tranny with brake cleaner--opened up the top plate and washed all the crud and grease away and out the drain hole. I used 2 cans of the stuff I think. It worked very well--then I sprayed
