- OK, I measured the resistances at points on the fuel sender. Full - ~10ohms Half - ~45 Empty - ~90 Figuring there was at least a variance in resistance, I checked this connected to the fuel gauge. A

- AH HA. I think you've hit on it! That fuel gauge, BF2300/02 is for MGBs. For the Sprites it should be : MK1 FG2530/31, MK2 FG2530/64, MK2 1098cc FG2530/70 , MK3 ,4 FG2530/70. Hope this helps. Peter

- Well, I at least know where the fuel gauge came from!! OK, but if the MGB gauge works for now, can I assume that the sender is giving me the wrong readings?? Is there a way to adjust this reading at
