...BTW none of which you need to put it in a Midget. These bits are great if you are putting it in a spitfire because then you just bolt it all up, but for a Midget your original propshaft will work,

Yes, the tranny with o/d is the same as the standard unit, but the output shaft is different for mating to the o/d unit. There were also (at least) 2 types of o/d unit fitted, the later one being sli
