I'm in Fayetteville, NC. I also have a line on two (maybe three) Datsun 210 transmissions in the area if anyone wants me to check them out. I haven't had time to go junk yard hopping yet. Ryan Marro
I am in the market for a B210 5 speed. You are a bit closer than Oregon ;-) so yes can you check them out? Don't go to a bunch if trouble. Just find out how much, so far. Thanks Larry At this exact

Not true Larry. B210 was front engine, rear drive. I worked on lots of them. Peg drove a B110 (1200) for years. There was a contemporary Datsun sedan that was FWD but I can't bring it to mind. The 21
B210 was not front wheel drive, and will fit spridget, but not nearly as neatly as the 210. I know, I did it without a kit. Have seen the kit from Paul, his kit, and the rivergate kit use the 210 box
Uh Oh, Are you sure the Datsun tranny won't work with a 1500?? I thought it would. May have to rethink this plan. Larry PS Yes it is a 1500 Larry Macy 78 Midget Keep your top down and your chin up. L

Just to make sure: Are you sure you want a B210 instead of just a 210? Maybe you do, but the Morrisservice and Rivergate kits are for a 210 and not a B210 as I understand it. Just want to make sure.
I'll check (in fact, to everyone at large, I've written down the list of requested parts I have so far and will get back to all of you). This guy is very reasonable, so the prices should be right (u
I thought it was the Merkur transmission, too, but according to John Black from Waterloo Drivetrain Systems (who sells the Rivergate kit here in the US) the Ford Sierra transmission (that he Rivergat
Trust me! The Merkur is also usable. The kit comes from the UK. Dan == Dan Dwelley 77 Midget Alexandria, Va. __________________________________________________
Obviously some listers never both to read messages from other listers since I pointed this out quite recently. The Merkur/Sierra transmission is the same aside from the length of the input shaft and
The conversion that John Black sells is the Frontline, not the Rivergate. Totally different conversion. Larry Miller -- Original Message -- From "Chris Kotting" <ckotting at core.com> To: "Dan Dwelle
This has probably been discussed on the list before, but since I just joined this week, forgive me for asking again. Which 5speed conversion is the best and why? Ryan Marro -- Original Message -- Fro
Arrgh, at this moment I am completely unsure. I need the definitive answer!!! I have a 1978 Midget with the 1500cc engine. I want to put a 5 speed in it. I gather that the Sierra/xR4 trans will fit,
