- Hi Ulix, If the engine splutters at 4,000 rpm + it most likely is the mixture because the igntion will be full in by then and unlikely to be a problem unless it is miles out - which doesn't seem like

- I had a VP7 in my green bugeye. It had a lumpy idle at 1000 rpms. I was running a Weber 45 DCOE. I have the same carb on the yellow bugeye but with a Kent 266. I like the Kent much better for around
