- Been futzing with the Midget this afternoon and can't keep it from dieseling at shutdown. I have checked the timing (12 deg BTDC for a 1969 25D dist), checked the mixture with Colortune and the idle

- Hi Mike, You've got something that's too hot in the combustion chamber and/or too much fuel mix coming in at idle. A couple of ways to shut off the engine is to put it in 4th gear, (Straight lock-up)

- Another cause for run on is not fully closed throttle plates. Are the throttle plates seated fully inside the carbs? Is the throttle linkage letting the butterflys fully seat? -- Frank Clarici Toms R
