I like Blue Streak points, by Standard. LU1617XP I think. You will have to call around to see who carries them, CARQUEST rings a bell. Did you know all the "original" Lucas stuff is now made in India

Never heard of anyone else having this problem, so I never mentioned it. My original 950 engine would eat a set of points in less than 20 miles in the manner described. In my case, the problem was so

I went with Bosh Platnium and the nice Lucas points and everything seems good now. I am trying to find the blue streak points and get a new condesor since that kind of stuff needs to be replaced as
