I am putting a DCOE40 on my 1275 and was planning on using a stock cable and a bottom mounted bracket for a pulldown style linkage...but the 2 sharp bends that the cable is forced to make are making

I fabricated an aluminum plate similar to the original SU heat sheild but with an offset throttle cable port. I just folded an ear over on some heavy aluminum, drilled a hole in it to accept the bras

I have a DCOE w/Cannon and I use a standard accelerator cable from the usual suspects. Mine is a '74 if that makes any difference. Also, my Cannon has a little ear on the rear to anchor the cable to.

Bill: I have some pages with various DCOE 45 jet setups showing what others have done. Do you have a fax number I could fax 'em to you? I will try to scan and post, but am not sure if that will work.
