Hi Daniel, Recently I took apart a low serial number thin flange block and found a set of rods with these numbers on them. They were attached to an EN40B crankshaft. Perhaps on the engines made with

isn't it the 1967 1275 that had the cooper "S" distributor, rods and EN40B crank , the no smog casting cylinder head etc.? some screw up in manufacturing and a lack of "standard " 1275 parts pressed

A correct guess Paul. Early 1275s (12cc engine #s) used these rods with the EN40 B crank. Cooper came out with it first and the Spridgets used it before de-tuning in 1968. -- Frank Clarici Toms River
