I have the Rivergate kit in my Midget and my Bugeye. They are excellent. My understanding is that the alloy used in the Rivergate adapter plate is better than that in Paul's, but not that there is a

I also have a Rivergate in my 72. Have had it for many years with no probs. So simple that my wife and I did the conversion. No real machining to be done other than to get the drive shaft balanced. c
