The valves can be changed both for bump and rebound. You'd have to speak to whoever supplied the uprated valves to find out what you actually have. Changing the damper oil affects both. The standard

Apparently one of the Datsun SSS gearboxes have much better I can't provide more info than that I'm afraid - I just recall discussing it with an ex-club member a few years ago who had this conversion

For all practical purposes, the squarebody,chrome bumper sprites and midgets are the same. There is minor trim difference with earlier midgets having extra chrome strips over their sprite brothers. M
