John, That figure is way out of a proper range. I had a complete valve job on a Spitfire head 3 years ago and it cost $212.00 Surely prices haven't gone up 300 percent in the past 3 years!!! Joe

What are they going to do for $600? Gold plate them?! I had the head on my spitfire planed and all the valves ground for reseating for Free. Thats toooooo much. I've had a lot of machine shop work do

WOW!! I paid $85 last fall for a valve job, surface and they even found some umbrella valve seals that fit. No parts replaces as they were all within specification. $600 sounds high even if new valve
