- Has anyone tried rebuilding a spitfire waterpump by just buying the bearings and seals locally? I'm assuming that there are 2 bearings and 2 seal plus a shaft. Any help would be appreciated. Brad (L

- Hi Peter, Thats what I was afraid of. Guess it would be simplier to just order a pump from Nigel at Spitbits. I was just hoping that the bearing units would be standard as would the seal. Not my day
