My 74 Spit has been running well, but I have been having trouble with starting. The car does not start easily, even when it is 90+ outside. I have a brand new starter, and the car started more easily

I suggest starting to eliminate problems one at a time. First thing is to check your timing. The "Dieseling" is usually due to improper timing settings. My 74 Spit has been running well, but I have b

Dieseling (Running on) is usually caused by carbon deposits in the cylinder and on top of the piston which get so hot while the engine is running that they can ignite leftover fuel in the combustion
