very odd, earlier the petrol and temperature guages were working. I just went out for another spin and the guages are now not working. At first they were reading about 1/2 the correct value and in th

Well they do have the stabilizer in common.... Broken cable? When you pull the speedo to check the volt. stab. connections, unscrew the cable and twist the squared-off bit between thumb & forefinger.

And the wiring! Could even be the ground from the gauges as well, on the opposite side from the stabiliser. Anything is possible given Lucas...... In my case I had gauges both reading low and suspec
