- I've got the opposite problem Jeff has. I got a rebuilt trans awhile ago and it has the hole for the reverse light switch. My car is a MK1 and I don't need it. I can't find anything to plug the hole

- I have done this a couple of times. I made a quickie puller out of a long bolt, a short bit of pipe, and some nets and washers. It worked like a charm for getting the old bushings out and the new one
