Well, on previous advise on my car not running for more than a few minutes, I replaced the fuel pump and tried again, there is definately a better supply of fuel now, but once the car is warm it cuts

I am sure there has been something on this on either the Spitfire or the Triumph list, but I would check your ignition circuitry, especially the condenser and the coil. I would replace the condenser

Sounds like a problem with the coil. In years past I worked as a mechanic and what would happen is that the coil would fail after it warmed up. Look at the coil for oil leakage, if there is oil comin
