- Those of you OTOSOTP (USA) may not have heard but there was a crash here yesterday of a Spitfire at Goodwood airfield. It was one of only 3 known 2 seater conversions and both pilots were killed. It

- Suzie, thanks for the news regarding the spitfire accident. I am sorry to hear this sad news. It is one of my favorite planes. I live only 11 miles from where "two dual control" Mustangs are housed.

- I have to say, the time I actually got to sit in a Spitfire cockpit, that it did rather swamp me - but then I'm not the tallest of people. With my lack of height I wouldn't have made a very good Spit
