Just want to mention a few things. One, I have purchased a bunch of inner waist seals (door) for the Triumphs (you know, those fuzzy strips that fit between the door edge and the inside glass). I ha

Have you ever bought a replacement speedo drive cable? Same problem. You can't get the pre-assembled cable through the grommet in the firewall without removing the connection from one end. Just how c

I probably should have thought to buy a new grommet as well. There was no way my old one was going to let the cable go through it - even off the car (believe me, I tried for a *long* time...). ATB --

All I can tell you is that I bought a "set" from SixSpares - and they were not only plastic rather than rubber (which, to their credit, they did warn me about), but they were nowhere near a full set!

I confess, my O/D also started getting flaky last year, and the cause turned out to be a bad crimped connection in my home-made harness. It's really a drag to have to pull the tranny cover just to fi
