If the setup is anything like my GT6, it takes some fancy fiddling to get an open end wrench in, then there's VERY limited space in which to turn the thing. It's tedious, but I manage to turn the nut

Remove the bottom nut first. Access to this nut is enhanced by opening the throttle completely. This gets the fast idle lever out of the way. You can wedge a screwdriver (or similar) in the throttle
