The only thing I can say is perhaps the Midget and Late Spit (with single rail box) had different transmissions. The shift lever you have certainly looks like a single rail shifter from a late Spit.

I never thought about it when I put it on, but the knob was just loosely screwed on the stick. The knob may be from something else entirely! With that in mind, any further comments? Thanks, Bill ____
