- You're right about the old gas/varnish. Smells horrid when burning. Open the gas tank lid and sniff. Probably the same smell, just not as strong. I would highly recommend pulling a gas line and drain

- I actually looked in to the "Frankenstein" way, but it would be expensive!! Indiana uses excise tax to fund the roads, the governors pockets, etc. Excise tax is computed on the year of the vehicle.
