- Just replaced the needles and the jets on my twin SUs (63 Spit 4) and notice that on the carb furthest away from the driver, the Piston Lifting Pin is solid and wont budge. Firstly, I am presuming it

- Simple question which I hope will have a quick answer. Is there a knack to removing the sump pan from a 1963 Spitfire4, whilst the engine is still in situ? The Haynes manual isnt much help. All bolts
