The pressed cardboard is the correct item. It is not a cheep alternative, and it makes an extreamly good seel. You may wan't to take out any deep scrapes in the surface that the gasket couldent seal

I adjusted the rear brakes last night, and it has improved it a bit. I am know happy to let MOT person test my brakes. I think the rest of the feel of the brakes it dew to new disks and pads. Anyway

I think this must be one of the first car's with the HIF type SU. For a starting point I would try an ABT needel in the car. The carb's are the same size, and will hopefully present the same specs. Y
