I just had the bottoms of mine done. The way I understand is that he raped the old foam with new. He said that should help to keep the old stuff longer.

I have a '78 Spit. I was told the black trim is 'black chrome'. It polishes up with chrome cleaner.

I put a two inch oil pressure guage under the dash on the left side of the steering wheel. It is set so it can be seen through the wheel. Cheap and easy.

Got an oil filter today. NAPA....unf51312. It came with the adapter with the different threads on each end. Now I shouldn't have any problems. Thanks everyone for the help.
