- By any chance, is there a rattling or knocking coming from low down (near the crank) on the front of the engine? This sounds like what my old '89 went through before I found the crank key had rolled.

- I've used that spot, too, without any problems. There is some twisting, but not enough to even affect door clearances, and the rear tire is maybe 4-6 inches lower than the front at full droop. -- -Ri
