I'm lucky enough (I hope it's luck) to have the option to buy another compressor... it's a big ole honkin Chicago Pneumatic Model 4x5... 150 psi and 82 cfm (yes..82) It was built back in June of 1962

If you can find a 10-15hp single phase motor, it shouldn't be all that hard to come up with a 50 amp, 220v service for it (think kitchen stove connection). Of course, you may not be able to run the c

I would put in the 50 amp circuit, or whatever the motor needs. That is well within the limits of home service. For instance, I have a 60 amp circuit for my hot tub running from my 125 amp garage pan

I very seriously doubt that a 15-20HP BS or Kohler engine has enough starting TORQUE. Once the thing was turning, it might work though. One things electric motors of this type have is copious torque
