- you might also try a foot-activated stitch. mcmaster and harbor freight both sell them, mcmaster's is of course four times more expensive. h-f sells several; I've seen them as low as $50. scott /// u

- Yes, we had those in the old ER and OR. they do work fine. the IR-version's time on/off issues are programmable, acc to the web article, but I must admit this sounds like a time to use the old fashio
