- Actually, I went through this with Sears once. The wrench is guaranteed for life. The accuracy is only guaranteed for 1 year. I had the ratchet mechanism break, and they had to replace it. Tim Mulle

- I also had a ratchet break in a pre-microtorque click type. sears wanted to that it was not warrenteed. second store finally replaced it. Be persistant. John

- Why *did* Wards stop making tools? I have bought a few old ones at flea markets and sales and they seem to be just as good as Craftsman tools. What went wrong? back
