You know what worries me about some of the inputs on this subject? - we have people apparently willing to abuse their tools and then expect Sears, or anyone else, to honor a replacement warranty. THA

Apparently you never saw the Sears/Craftsman commercial where the guy uses a big Craftsman screwdriver to substitute for part of his trailer hitch that fell out and tows some stuff home in his truck

I don't think anyone intentially abuses tools. Sometimes the fastener is tougher than the wrench. For anyone in the Chicago area, there is a Sears on Laurence about 1800 West that has never hassled m

Having just posted that I sometimes abuse my tools, I _have_ to disagree If I bought a tool that was guaranteed only for "normal usage", then I wouldn't ask for a replacement after I broke it by abus
