If you want to try something I'd recommend the Krylon Contractor Door & Shutter paint. It may be the same stuff as the Krylon 'Fusion' stuff, I don't know, but what mattered to me is that it's label

Absent a manufactured extension, a chunk of 2x8 laid on the ground in front of the ramp helps - bevel the leading edge if you're truly anal. John.

For me 14.4V is about the 'sweet spot' on weight vs power. I've got an 18V battery Sawzall (need a chunk of sheetmetal at the junkyard? No problem!) but I wouldn't want to carry that battery around
