I don't know about '56 Chevy trucks, but '57 GMC 1/2 ton pickups were available with '15, 16 and 17.5" wheels, all using the standard 6 lug pattern. Thanks, Bob

My 56 3200 has the 15 inch wheels, and my 49 burb came with 16 inch wheels. somewhere in between those years the "standard" 1/2 ton wheels probably changed from 16 to 15 inch. -- Original Message --
