Hi...my suggestion is to whack off the Caddy spring perches, and use the old truck spring perches. For one thing, if you mount the rearend on top of the springs, by the time you put some weight on it

What is the width of a Seville rearend, and does it have disk brakes? oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959

I've read that the Seville rearend is the same width as TF trucks, also Custom & Classic truck states that it is a direct swap meaning the spring perches are the same width, and yes they do have disk

The engine and tranny are installed in the frame at a 4 degree angle, the front is higher than the back of course. So, the pinion should be pointing up about 2 or 3 degrees at the front, relative to
