You didn't mention if it was coming from the front of the rear of the engine area, but it sure sounds like the very typical late model 350 intake leak. Always leaks on the passenger side of the intak

This is a very common problem with the 5.7l (350) Vortecs. Chevy screwed up and overtorqued the inlet manifold bolts and the gasket crushes and starts leaking. The cure is to replace the inlet manifo
